Z950M meets landscape contractors’ needs for more horsepower
CARY, North Carolina (October 24, 2013) – John Deere is adding to its popular line of ZTrak mowers with the addition of the Z950M. The new zero-turn mower gives landscape contractors more horsepower for greater efficiency and performance.
“The demand for zero-turn mowers in the marketplace is growing. Our customers told us they were interested in a higher horsepower model in the M Series, and we listened,” said Nick Minas, John Deere product manager. “Our goal is to provide customers with the choices and flexibility to pick the right machine for their businesses.”
The new Z950 joins the M Series of ZTrak commercial mowers, designed for customers seeking productivity and efficiency. With a 27.0 hp* engine, the Z950M has a top speed of 10 mph. The model is offered in 60-inch, 60-inch Mulch On Demand™, and 72-inch widths, and comes equipped with a 7-Iron™ deck for maximum durability.
To enhance operator comfort, the new model offers the option of an isolation seat or a fully-adjustable suspension seat. For easy cleanup on the jobsite, an optional, integrated material collection system provides a Dump-From-Seat option to increase ease of use.
Landscape contractors will also appreciate the peace of mind that comes with the class-leading warranties offered by John Deere. The Z950M comes with a 3-year/1,200 hour warranty.
Like the rest of the ZTrak lineup, the new Z950M is an eligible purchase within the GreenFleet™ Loyalty Rewards program. The industry-exclusive loyalty program from John Deere is designed to help customers manage their equipment more easily and cost-effectively.
